🌾 Beannachtaí na Cásca! 5 Handy Irish Phrases for the Easter Weekend 🌾

Easter weekend is here and that means three glorious days off in a row and a whole lot of chocolate. What’s not to love?

At Prints of Ireland, we’re always looking for ways to help you sneak a cĂșpla focal (a few Irish words) into everyday moments. So, whether you’re spending the weekend with family, heading out for a walk, or just unwrapping your fifth Easter egg (no judgment), here are five Irish phrases to brighten your weekend:

🐰 1. Cáisc Shona Duit!

Happy Easter!
A classic — perfect for cards, texts, or greeting your loved ones on Easter Sunday.

đŸŒŒ 2. TĂĄ coinĂn na CĂĄsca ag teacht.

The Easter Bunny is coming.
Say it to the little ones in your life to get them excited for the Easter egg hunt.

đŸ« 3. D’ith mĂ© a lĂĄn uibheacha CĂĄsca.

I ate a lot of Easter eggs.
Relatable, accurate, and worth learning off by heart.

😅 4. D’ith mĂ© an iomarca seaclĂĄide.

I ate too much chocolate.
Because we’ve all been there - and we’re probably going back for more.

💐 5. Beannachtaí na Cásca.

Easter greetings.
A lovely way to sign off a card or message with a touch of Gaeilge.

Whatever you get up to this Easter weekend, we hope it’s full of fun, rest, and a little bit of Gaeilge.
